This project involved the design and implementation of a control system for stepper motors. The project explored different types of stepper motors, including permanent magnet and bipolar stepper motors, and developed control sequences for precise movement and positioning.

- Stepper Motor Types: The project covered various types of stepper motors, including permanent magnet and hybrid motors, and their applications in motion control systems. It explored the characteristics of different motors and the importance of choosing the correct driver and controller.
- Control Circuitry: Designed and implemented control circuits for both unipolar and bipolar stepper motors, using H-bridges and other driver configurations to achieve precise control over motor movements.
- Motion Control Sequences: Developed several motion control sequences, including wave drive, full step, and half step modes, to optimize the torque-speed performance of the motors while maintaining positional accuracy.
- Modeling and Simulation: The project also involved modeling the stepper motors' performance to predict and analyze their behavior under different operating conditions, accounting for factors like friction, torque, and resonance.
